West Central Community Program has a long and storied history of providing recreational and developmental activities for children in the West End. They’re celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, and have been a positive force in the lives of literally thousands of kids from that community. Kerris Chinery has worked at the WCCP for 15 of those years in the role of program manager, but after the recent retirement of founder and Executive Director Mark Titheridge, she has taken on the E.D. role. She approached us for a mentorship match which would help her adjustment to the new role and all of its responsibilities, and build her capacity as a leader. We’ve matched her with the perfect mentor – Nicole Chammartin, an experienced E.D. who recently completed a very successful Spark E.D. mentorship match. Nicole and Kerris will be meeting monthly over the next year.
